Colgate’s certification includes the recently filed results for 2^nd Quarter 2002. The deadline for the filing is August 14, 2002. The sworn certification filed with the SEC was the culmination of an intensive process of evaluation by management and the independent Audit Committee of the Board of Directors which reconfirmed the existing internal systems of control and discipline.
