NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Colgate-Palmolive Company (NYSE:CL) today announced the following:

Noel R. Wallace (53) has been promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer, responsible for all the Company's operating units. Mr. Wallace, who joined Colgate in 1987, has an accomplished record leading the Company's business units, including its North America and Latin America divisions and its Mexico subsidiary. He was most recently Chief Operating Officer, Global Innovation & Growth and Hill's Pet Nutrition.

P. Justin Skala (58) has been appointed Executive Vice President, Chief Growth & Strategy Officer, leading all the Company's commercial growth functions, including Global Marketing, Customer Development, Technology and Supply Chain, as well as the Company's Sustainability efforts and its recently acquired professional skin care businesses. After joining the Company in 1982, he held a series of increasingly senior leadership positions before successfully leading Colgate's Asia, Latin America and North America divisions. He was most recently Chief Operating Officer, North America, Europe, Africa/Eurasia and Global Sustainability.

Both executives will report to Ian Cook who remains Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
